Things I Found While Shopping Around

Here are some things that I spotted while looking for some inexpensive hardware at Home Depot the other day.  I really was surprised.

This mosaic marble tile pattern is gorgeous.  I haven't seen this pattern before.  It would make a great accent in a bathroom.  And is reasonably priced at $16.99 per tile 13"x13".  Believe me, I've priced marble hex tile before and had quotes anywhere from $10.95 per foot all the way up to $55.00 per foot (and probably higher, can't remember the exact price, but I know I was shocked).

I also spotted this carpet.  I've never had to shop for carpet before because I'm not a big fan.  I have seagrass in my house.  But if I was to do a basement, this would definitely be a contender.

A great modern pattern, reminiscent of the patterns by designer David Hicks.  It comes in lots of colors also, and is only $2.21 sq foot.

And finally, these great metal panels which you can use to make custom radiator covers, cold air return vents, vents for TV components in benches, the possibilities are endless.

It's amazing what you can find when you've got a couple of minutes on your hands.
